And here are a few tips to help you make the most of it.
Start a “Summer Kick-off" Tradition
Kids love traditions and one of many great reasons to celebrate is the beginning of summer. Pick a day that makes the most sense for your family - it could be the last day of school, a holiday weekend or a day that just feels like summer’s finally arrived. You can celebrate the daytime heat with a water balloon fight or some frozen treats. After all, everyone loves ice cream! Or you can take advantage of the longer hours by organizing a BBQ and inviting their friends' families. The more the merrier!
It’s said that we have 18 summers with our kids, which may seem like a lot but we all know how fast time flies by. So, make sure you take the time to capture your summertime fun by taking photos - lots of them! It’s amazing how one special photo can bring back many wonderful memories. And it can be a good reminder of what we have to look forward to when we’re in the thick of winter.

Today, sustainability and climate change are quickly encapsulating our lives. No matter where we live, we're starting to see the effects of pollution, single-use plastics, and other factors that are damaging to our environment. It's undoubtedly hard living in a world where you feel like you can't make a difference, especially when it comes to sustainability. You want to save the sea turtles, but when you look at all the disposable coffee cups and straws lying in the trash on your way to work, how can you not feel defeated?
Canadian Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and guess what? It's also Mental Health Awareness Week. We at Stonz want to take this opportunity to tell you that we are so thankful for you and this community of strong moms that we are a part of. Our kids are one of the most important parts of our lives, but you are also important as well!
